John Allen Hood has been in the insurance and investment business since 1969. He has degrees in insurance as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

John is a native Californian. He and his wife, Sandy, were married in 1962 and have lived in Agoura HIlls, California for over 30 years. They have two children, now raised and on their own. John and Sandy now have two grandchildren.

John has been active in his community as President of the local Chamber of Commerce and member for over 25 years, President of the Conejo Valley Industrial Association, Chairman of the Board of Governors of a local hospital, City Council member and Mayor of the City of Agoura Hills.

John has worked and serviced his clients with life, medical, disability, long term care and travel insurance. His investments are currently sold through Port Securities of Newport Beach, California.

John is the owner and president of Agoura Hills Insurance Services, Inc., helping his clients accumulate, preserve and protect their business and personal assets.

John's philosophy is to help clients with their needs and problems by showing a variety of options.
